Представлен обзор современных зарубежных публикаций, посвященных изучению феномена благополучия. Отражено краткое содержание основных концепций субъективного и психологического благополучия, рассмотрены различные подходы зарубежных исследователей к пониманию содержания, структуры и функций благополучия, основные характеристики и компоненты субъективного и психологического благополучия. Представлены исследования факторов, способствующих достижению ощущения благополучия, а также связанных с этим позитивных и негативных следствий. Анализ современного состояния зарубежных исследований в области концепций благополучия позволил определить проблемы терминологии, дефиниции и операционализации понятий субъективного и психологического благополучия. Представлен и аргументирован вывод об отсутствии общепризнанного подхода к определению этих понятий, их функций и соотношении. Материалы библиографического обзора обосновывают необходимость дальнейших теоретических и эмпирических исследований феномена благополучия, а также необходимость создания новых психометрически проверенных методик исследования феноменов субъективного и психологического благополучия.
