Assessment of the activities of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation for the protection of cultural property

Cultural values are objects of cultural heritage that have value in terms of art, literature, historical importance, etc. Since cultural heritage sites are important for many associations of people and peoples, the customs authorities face the important task of protecting cultural property from loss and illegal movement. The article presents the features of the movement of cultural values, as well as an analysis of the dynamics of identifying cases of illegal movement of objects of cultural significance. In conclusion, the existing problems and conclusions of the study are identified.
