Cardiovascular diseases have been and remain the main cause of high mortality in many countries, including Russia. Today, ischemic heart disease is the main cause of disability and mortality in all developed countries, which forces us to look for new opportunities for forecasting, risk assessment, diagnosis, prevention and treatment. The most significant and dangerous manifestation of ischemic heart disease is acute coronary syndrome, one of the forms of which is acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The immediate cause of a sharp disturbance of blood flow leading to the development of AMI is most often thrombosis or prolonged spasm of a large coronary artery, occurring in the area of an atherosclerotic plaque and a sharp increase in the myocardial oxygen demand during physical exertion, hypertensive crisis, emotional stress and the inflammatory process, which in atherosclerosis is a consequence of the endothelium's response to the damaging effect of atherogenic factors. In particular, such factors include antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL), the most important role among which is played by aPL to the glycoprotein β2GPI, as well as to prothrombin.
