Assessment of satisfaction with medical care of patients of the chemotherapy department

Improving of medical care quality is one of the most actual problems of a health care system. A certain difficulty in solving this problem is the lack of an unambiguous interpretation of the concept of medical care quality among people and medical employees at all levels. A quality evaluation of medical services from patients’ point of view is becoming increasingly important within the framework of the implementation of the concept of patient-oriented healthcare. The article presents updated quantitative and qualitative indicators of the chemotherapy department patients’ satisfaction with medical care, and association between oncological stage and satisfaction with medical care that can be used for further monitoring, development and implementation of measures to improve the quality of medical care.
