Reservation of public policy in private international law

Article 1193 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation refers to the reservation of a public order, that is, the exclusion of the application of the rules of foreign law in the event that they are not compatible with the public order of the country of the court. However, until today, the content of the term "public order" is not defined on the doctrinal and legislative level.
