The article describes and analyzes the petroglyphs on a compact site of rock art, discovered in the valley of the Taldura River in the Southeastern Altai. This is a huge boulder covered with petroglyphs. A unique image on this boulder is a huge representation of the deer, made in the so-called Mongolian-Transbaikalian style of deer stones. The parallels suggests that the petroglyphs of the Mongolian and Southern Russian Altai are distinguished by the largest number and variety of compositions with similar stylized deer. Since deer in the Mongolian-Transbaikalian style is often a part of compositions with petroglyphs belonging to the Bronze Age (the second half of the 2nd millennium BC), the representations of the deer may be dated to that period.
