Olympiad of pre-professional skills "Digit. Design. Service" as a tool for early training of future tourism specialists

The problem of forming pre-professional skills of 8-1 grade school students within the framework of Olympiad of pre-professional skills «Digit. Design. Service» on the example of “Tourism” program is discussed. Educational cycle of the Olympiad provides exposure to the profession, defining the trajectory of the future career and acquisition of practical professional skills. Olympiad develops such soft skills as project management, systematic thinking, cognitive skills, emotional intellect and others. Brief characteristic of the Olympiad course in the area of Tourism, organization of tour services is presented with its objective, tasks, formed skills and expected results. The topicality of continuing in education in tourism is stressed.
