The article deals with organization of online learning in a higher school. The author studies pedagogical activities of faculty members - development of methodology, preparation of content, selection of technologies. The paper considers the tools and practice of online exercises designing, application of active and interactive methods of teaching, analyses the information and communication environment of such education. The data of questionnaire survey of students studying in forms of blended learning and online learning is compared. The author suggests guidelines on methodology application, content shaping and selection of modern technologies when organizing online learning in the higher educational institution.
