In the course of the research while maintaining the ratio jf ihtiola and glyoxal 1:1 the optimal amount of polyethylene glycol 6000 was chosen to obtain ichthyola - glyoxalis suppository and it was found that they inhibit the growth of E. coli М-17 (inclusive) to the dilution of 1:128, staphylococcus Р-209 to dilution of 1:256 and hay bacillus P-2 dilution to 1:512.
