Definition of the concept and level of development of non-airports of the largest airports of the Russian Federation

The article discusses various approaches to the definition of the term "non-aviation activity", and also offers a refined definition. The development of non-aviation activities at domestic airports is described, and the main types of non-aviation activities are presented. The analysis of revenue from non-aviation activities of the five largest airports in Russia was carried out, and the share of revenue from non-aviation services in the total amount of revenue was determined. Two modern concepts of development of airport enterprises are described: the concept of forming aviation clusters and the concept of creating "aerotropolises".
