Optimal technologies for underground mining of Siberian ores

Бесплатный доступ

The problem of underground mining of Siberia's ores consists in the need to develop deposits in the conditions of permafrost - the cryolithic zone spreading 64% of the territory of Russia. The difficulty of completeness of extraction of minerals, at the same time, ensuring environmental safety in the cryolithic zone, lies primarily in the extremely high sensitivity of this zone to any technogenic load. The mining industry influences the entire biosphere: atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere. First of all, the pollution of the air. To control air pollution during subsoil use, it is necessary to improve technologies, technological processes that reduce the volume of toxic gases, technological dust and their localization in the worked out excavations without entering the atmosphere. Russia's national security threatens selective mining of only rich ore sites, which leads to the closure (liquidation) of mining enterprises, the elimination of the strategic raw materials industry. Correct the situation can apply technology that excludes large losses of valuable ores in the bowels. In this paper, we consider technologies that ensure high-quality and productive extraction of minerals, environmental and national security in the Siberian permafrost zone
