Optimization of the process of searching for information and materials by teaching staff to prepare for participation in regional and all-Russian professional competitions at the “Korkinsky mining and construction college”

This article addresses a pressing topic: the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and lean technologies in vocational education institutions across educational, management, and other processes. It presents and explores the experience of implementing the optimization project “Optimizing the Information and Materials Search Process for Teaching Staffto Prepare for Participation in Regional and All-Russian Professional Competitions at the Korkinsky Mining and Construction College”. A key measure for achieving the target indicators was the development of a unified electronic educational resource for teachers at the Korkinsky Mining and Construction College — the “Methodological Navigator for College Teachers” website. This website provides teachers planning to participate in professional competitions withinformation and materials to help them prepare for them. This implemented project is not only streamlined (a standard for searching forinformation and materials for preparation for professional competitions was created, reducing the time spent sear ching forinformation and materials), but also customer-centric, as it focuses on the «internal client» — the teachers at the Korkinsky Mining and Construction College — and their satisfaction with the organized process. The methodological department (represented by the deputy director for educational and methodological work) initiated this optimization project at the college, as it oversees and coordinates this area of work within the organization. The project was successfully implemented and recommended by the regional Coordinating Council for use by other professional educational organizations in the Chelyabinsk region as a “boxed solution”.
