Learning material updating practices in further education of public servants

The paper discusses the problem of improving the quality of public servants’ further education. The purpose of the study is to share the practical experience of learning material updating during further education of public servants. The following results are obtained. The research reveals the learning material updating practices while teaching a course in Management Decision-Making to the students of the proficiency enhancement program on State and Municipal Management in the Tchaikovsky branch of Perm National Research Polytechnic University. The algorithm and an example of learning material updating are provided by linking theory, legal rules of the Russian Federation with public administration practices. The research illustrates the use of learning material activating auditory, visual sensors and affections of the trainees while grasping the subject. It is concluded that the applied methods improve the quality of further education for State and Municipal Management program’s students. That is why, it is necessary to share the experience of learning material updating revealed by the author.
