The article deals with the psychological phenomenon of self-realization in creative activity as a dynamic factor of vital self-realization. The author highlights the theoretical positions that are the methodological and theoretical basis for studying the psychological phenomenon of self-realization in the creativity. Two strategies of self-realization stand out: as the realization of a task set "from the outside," and as the realization of one's own life task. The process of self-realization in creativity is considered actively - the activity, semantic aspect of life, the process of active, proactive selfrealization, involving the maximum realization of human creative potential. In the article are given some results of the study of the motivation of self-realization: six dominant motives of self-realization in work are distinguished on the basis of content analysis of texts using the reflexive method «My life and creativity».
