Organization of research activity of students in higher schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation

The article substantiates the need to prepare students for research activities. The authors consider the basic methodological approaches to organization of students' research activities in higher schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The stages of students' involvement in researches on the basis of advanced educational technologies are defined. The problems of assessment of cadets' readiness to carry out research activities are discussed. The authors present evaluation criteria of this process effectiveness.
