В статье на основе документов Музея истории детского движения ГБОУ «Воробьевы горы» и материалов государственных архивов освещены некоторые организационно-педагогические аспекты работы Московского городского Дворца пионеров и школьников в области методического руководства работой столичных внешкольных учреждений, организации повышения квалификации разных категорий школьных и пионерских работников, инструктивной работы с пионерскими и комсомольскими активистами в 1962–1992 гг. Подчеркнута значительная роль МГДПиШ в деятельности городских методических объединений, семинаров, курсов и конференций, организованных в сотрудничестве с Московским городским институтом усовершенствования учителей. Перечислены категории школьных работников, охваченных системой семинаров и методобъединений, проводившихся Дворцом. Особое внимание уделено истории и организации работы Университета старших пионервожатых Москвы, действовавшего на базе МГДПиШ в 1968–1988 гг. в сотрудничестве с НИИ ОПВ АПН СССР и создавшего мощный пласт опыта работы в этой области. Представлены направления работы базировавшегося во Дворце Московского городского пионерского штаба, освещены интересные направления и факты его деятельности. Дан краткий очерк истории методического отдела МГДПиШ. Перечислены структурные подразделения Дворца, возникшие в 1985–1992 гг. на базе переформированного методического отдела. Подчеркнуто, что за рассматриваемое тридцатилетие Дворцом был накоплен огромный опыт работы с разными категориями работников пионерской организации и народного образования, с детским активом. С конца 1980-х гг. специфика МГДПиШ как методического центра организации внешкольной работы столицы и всей страны претерпела принципиальные содержательные и организационно-педагогические изменения.

The organizational and pedagogical component of the instructional and methodological work of the Moscow city palace of pioneers and schoolchildren (1962–1992)
Based on documents from the Museum of the History of the Children’s Movement (part of the “Vorobyovy Gory” educational complex) and materials from state archives, this article examines certain organizational and pedagogical aspects of the Moscow City Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren’s activities between 1962 and 1992. It focuses on the Palace's role in providing methodological guidance to the capital’s extracurricular institutions, organizing professional development for various categories of school and Pioneer staff, and conducting instructional work with Pioneer and Komsomol activists. The significant role of the Moscow City Palace of Children and Young People (MGDPiSh) in the activities of municipal methodological associations, seminars, training courses, and conferences organized in collaboration with the Moscow City Institute for Teacher Professional Development is highlighted. The categories of school personnel encompassed by the system of seminars and methodological associations conducted by the Palace are listed. Particular attention is paid to the history and organization of the University for Senior Pioneer Leaders of Moscow, which operated at the MGDPiSh from 1968 to 1988 in cooperation with the Research Institute for General and Pedagogical Education of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, and which generated a substantial body of practical experience in this field. The article outlines the activities of the Moscow City Pioneer Headquarters which was based at the Palaceand highlights interesting aspects and facts regarding its work. A brief history of the Palace’s methodological department is provided, along with a list of the structural units established between 1985 and 1992 following the reorganization of that department. It emphasizes that, over the thirty-year period in question, the Palace amassed extensive experience working with various categories of personnel from the Pioneer organization and the public education system, as well as with active groups of children. Since the late 1980s, the specific nature of the MGDPiSh as a methodological center for organizing extracurricular activities in the capital and across the country has undergone fundamental changes regarding its content and its organizational-pedagogical structure.
