Organizational and pedagogical aspects of combating extremism in the Republic of Buryatia

The article discusses the current socio-pedagogical problem of preventing extremism as unlawful socially dangerous activity of a destructive nature. Extremism as a form of deviation negatively affects the social health of young people. This thesis is substantiated based on the analysis of the work of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Buryatia in preventing extremism. The legal and regulatory framework for combating extremism and terrorism in Russia is characterized, and scientific publications dedicated to the activities of universities in preventing extremism are analyzed. The article aims to consider the organizational and pedagogical aspect of combating extremism, which is mainly the object of political and legal activities. The development of the problem of extremism as a subject of legal and pedagogical research has been carried out based on political-legal, socio-philosophical, and value-psychological approaches. To achieve the research objective, a systematic review and analysis of legal and regulatory documents and scientific publications on the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Buryatia in combating extremism have been conducted.
