The Russian Federation is working on global education digitalization projects to equip educational institutions with the necessary infrastructure, to provide Internet access and widespread adoption of electronic resources, to integrate modern information and communication technologies and to implement distance learning technologies. The system of continuous pedagogical education should be rethought for a new educational paradigm. The article aims to make a theoretical analysis of the literature on the research problem and to present the results of modeling the virtual environment of continuous pedagogical education. The authors offer an organizational model of the virtual educational environment of continuous pedagogical education that summarizes the following models: the nuclear model of the teacher's professional and digital culture, the dynamic model of continuous pedagogical education, the process model of the teacher in the system of continuous pedagogical education, the information model of the virtual environment of continuous pedagogical education.
