Management, social and psychological challenges in inclusive tourism

The study reviews the main issues of inclusive tourism. The research shows that it is necessary to reveal the security threats on the route in advance and scrutinize the tourist event. It notes that providing services for inclusive tourists requires both a specialized personnel training and the appropriate facilities: wheelchair ramps, convenient access, expanded doorways, and specialized hotel equipment. Information is a significant component of inclusive tours. In this regard, one should elaborate on tourist packages and routes, the recruitment of qualified personnel. It is important to apply an individual approach to people with different disabilities, treat them respectfully, take their needs into account, defuse conflicts following the route under control, unite the tourist group by distributing physical activity and responsibilities among tourists, give them adequate tasks, encourage to be positive and stimulate their activity. One should check in advance that tourist sites meet the needs of tourists with disabilities and are safe. The study notes that the involvement of people with disabilities in tourist services can increase their self-esteem and consumption of public goods.
