Main characteristics of strategic development organizations of higher education of the Russian Federation

The strategic development of higher education organizations of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Russian Federation) is a global and effective process of changes for improvement generated by the teams of leading universities in order to achieve strategic results. The article considers the concept of strategic development of higher education organizations in a narrow and broad interpretation. The concepts of strategic development and strategic planning and management are compared. The main characteristics of the strategic development of universities are systematized. The obligatory components of the strategic development of universities are identified.
