The main components and types of the banking ecosystem

Various studies show that the formation of banking ecosystems is a global trend. The article examines the factors contributing to the emergence of banking ecosystems, the main of which are the introduction of new digital technologies and the growth of competition in the banking business. The main components of banking ecosystems are considered: a single digital platform, customer-oriented business and forms of partnership. Various points of view on the essence of banking ecosystems and platforms are given. Four types of Russian banking ecosystems are identified. Proposals on ecosystem regulation proposed by the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Federal Antimonopoly Service were considered.
