The main directions of formation and development of students’ resilience in the process of teaching socio-philosophical disciplines in modern universities

The article considers students’ resilience as their ability to be aware of their problematic life situations, adapt to them and act constructively in order to overcome them optimally. The main directions and ways of formation and development of this quality in students in the process of teaching socio-philosophical disciplines in modern universities are presented. It substantiates the need for the formation and development of students’ abilities to understand the essence and features of difficult life situations and adaptation skills in order to ensure successful implementation of students’ life strategies and plans. The article identifies the topics of the main socio-philosophical disciplines (philosophy, sociology, political science, cultural studies), in the study of which it is possible to increase the level of students’ resilience development in the most adequate way. It also reveals the methodology of using discussion-based, practice-oriented and competence-based approaches in the formation and development of students’ resilience at lectures and seminars on socio-philosophical disciplines.
