Fundamentals of pedagogical resources and strategies for training specialists in China’s music education system (review of scientific publications)

This article presents the results of a meta-analysis of scientific publications by Chinese authors devoted to the problems of music pedagogy and professional music education. The sample included articles published in the period from 2021 to 2024 inclusive. This study aims to identify key trends and methodological innovations in the field of music education, illustrated by the example of the selected array of scientific articles. This provides a deeper understanding of how professional educational concepts evolve in China and what factors influence their development and dissemination in the academic community. The articles were classified based on the academic papers related to the platforms to identify the past research profiles in this field and the corresponding knowledge gaps. The search queries included databases of major Chinese websites that collect most of the country’s journals and academic papers, such as https://wap.cnki.net/touch/web/guide, https://xueshu.baidu.com/, https://www.cqvip.com/, as well as ScienceDirect, an English-language information platform of Elsevier. The purpose of this study is to explore the foundations of the pedagogical system and the prospects for training specialists in the field of music education in China. The problematic analysis in this study is based on the bibliometric evaluation of academic papers on the specified topic, including both quantitative and qualitative explication, systematization and comparison of data. This allows for a deep analysis and interpretation of scientific results, providing an integra- tive understanding of trends and changes in the subject area, which becomes the basis for further theoretical and methodological developments. The results of the study showed that the problem of studying professional music education is developing rapidly, the number of publications is increasing, reflecting the objective patterns of training specialists in the Chinese music system.
