Features of the value-semantic sphere of various groups of employees of an educational organization in the conditions of digitalization

The article presents the results of an empirical study of the value-semantic sphere of various categories of university employees in the context of the transition to a “Digital University”: faculty, teaching and support staff, IT specialists. The study involved employees of the Tula State Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy, Kaluga State University named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky and the Moscow Financial and Industrial University “Synergy” (n = 450). The analysis of the obtained data that the structural and content characteristics of the employees' value-semantic sphere can be identified in its correlation with the competence model proposed by the authors, as well as with the type of educational organization (state-non-state, technical-humanitarian). It is emphasized that digitalization is accompanied by a number of difficulties for university staff of different groups, and therefore it is necessary to optimize the process in order to eliminate problems. Conclusions are that the results of the study can be useful in the professional selection of employees for HEIs in the context of the transition to the “Digital University”.
