This article examines the problem of updating and integrating elements of the cultural code of the Siberian Tatars, in particular the Eushta settlement, into a modern national costume. The cultural code is an important component in the formation of ethnic identity, being not only a symbol of belonging to a particular group, but also a way of transmitting cultural values and traditions from generation to generation. Such components as language, crafts and folk costume play a key role in preserving the ethnic group. An analysis of historical and ethnographic sources is carried out in order to identify key markers of cultural identity (ornament, color palette, cut, types of decor) characteristic of the traditional costume of the Eushta people. The main attention is paid to the methods of artistic design and design techniques that allow adapting authentic elements (national embroidery, pattern motifs, symbols, cut) to current fashion trends. It is concluded that the cultural code of the Eushta settlement has a rich historical heritage, which can contribute to the creation of unique design solutions for urban clothing, which makes it possible to preserve elements of the cultural heritage of the Eushta settlement. The Tatar settlement located in Eushta – a settlement in the Tomsk region of Russia, can serve as a clear example of how historical and cultural elements can be reflected in modern clothing design.
