Peculiarities of language training of foreign military personnel for passing the subtests “writing skills” and “speaking skills”

The article deals with the problems of language training of foreign military servicemen attending the foundation course. The authors consider the possible ways of overcoming the difficulties in the sphere of teaching Russian as a foreign language caused by peculiarities of a military education institution and the students’ national mentality characteristics. The special attention is paid to writing and speaking skills as the main kinds of language behaviour and the most complicated subtests. The advice is given on how to select materials for preparing students for the final testing on Russian language after completing the foundation course. Besides, the examples of proper exercise tasks are presented.
