Organization of excursions as a form of introducing works of art to preschool children

The article reveals the theoretical and methodological aspects of organizing excursions as a form of work to introduce the works of visual arts, applied arts and architecture to preschool children. We have analyzed the survey of teachers, aimed at identifying the specifics and difficulties of organizing excursions in the conditions of modern preschool education. Excursions are rarely used as a form of introducing works of art to preschoolers; the educators emphasize organizational and methodological difficulties in organizing excursions. In this regard, the content of excursions should be aimed at meeting the aesthetic needs of preschoolers and performing a number of tasks of their artistic and aesthetic development in accordance with the preschool educational program. We have expanded on the classification of excursions aimed at introducing arts to preschoolers, analyzed the specifics of determining the subject matter of excursions, and formulating their objectives. The article reveals the content of excursion components at each stage, presents the qualitative criteria for evaluating the development of excursions for preschool children.
