In the special conditions of the transition of the educational process to a distance format, a lot of organizational, methodological and technical issues arise. The fundamental provisions in this case are the state of the technical infrastructure of the educational institution and the availability of professional competencies of employees. In the final link of providing educational services, the quality of distance learning depends on the selected teaching tools and methods. The problematic point is that the final decision is the responsibility of the teacher. The paper presents the experience of searching for effective combinations of tools and methods in teaching mathematical disciplines. The main provisions necessary for the high-quality organization of work in remote mode are considered through the prism of the professional activity of a university teacher. As a demonstration of the results, various infographics are used, which is an effective form of conveying information
