The article deals with the peculiarities of the translation of the theological term “σάρξ” in the English translations of the Epistle to the Romans in the New American Standard Bible, New International Version and Good News Bible, using three English translations of the Epistle to the Romans. At the same time, a variety of equivalents is being studied that can be used by translators of the biblical text to transmit the theological term “σάρξ” to English.
