Special features of training the students of pedagogical institute in order to conduct social and domestic orientation of a mentally handicapped school child

The article shows particular features of training defectologiests at pedagogical institutes. It proves the necessity to single social and domestic orientation of a student of special (correction) school of VIII type out of pedagogical activities of a teacher for oligophrenic persons. It gives the results of verified type of research, supporting a low level of readiness of prospective teachers for oligophrenic persons to conduct this type of work.
