Features of teaching Chinese in the context of developing the abilities to memorize the Chinese characters in primary school

The article deals with the peculiarities of teaching Chinese to the primary school students. The paper provides the results of the authors’ research on the basis of Kazan schools, wherein the Chinese language is taught either as a compulsory subject or as an optional one. It is proved that in the first month of training the student can fully grasp no more than 5-6 characters learning the Chinese language two hours per week.
