The paper deals with the study of the peculiarities of professional self-determination depending on the activity in social networks of adolescent and school-leaving students. It has been established that there are significant differences between professional self-determination and activity in the social networks of students in grades 9 and 11, which could be explained by an older group of respondents having more control over the influence of social networks on professional self-determination as a result of maturation and the formation of their value orientations. Significant correlations between professional self-determination and activity in social networks of adolescent and school-leaving students are also revealed, with high scores for activity in social networks, there is a low readiness for professional choice. The prospects for further study of this problem are outlined.
