Special features of students’ professional socialization in the conditions of military higher school

The article deals with the modern primary professional socialization of future officers, their personal and professional development. The problem of violence and nonviolence in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is discussed. The author presents a definition of "military socialization", considers the basic stages of military personal development: adaptation, individualization and integration. The paper describes the content of the process of professional socialization of future officers (development of student’s “Self", development as a military man and a professional).
