Peculiarities of the manifestation of responsibility in older preschool children

The article focuses on identifying the peculiarities of responsibility in older preschool children as an important personal quality, along with activity, independence, initiativity. The aim of the article is to describe the revealed manifestations of responsibility in children of 6-7 years old. With the help of a number of techniques, the formation of the cognitive component - ideas about responsibility, regulatory and behavioral components of responsibility was assessed. The levels of responsibility were defined: initiatively-responsible, executive-responsible and formally-responsible. As a result of the analysis of the received data, the prevalence of formal-responsible and executive-responsible levels was revealed, which requires a special role of the bringing up adult. And the most pronounced was the cognitive component, the high level of which was revealed in 16 % of the children participating in the study. The results of the study demonstrate one version of a diagnostic procedure for assessing the formation of responsibility in children of senior preschool age and are the basis for the construction of individual routes for the development of important personal qualities, including responsibility.
