Features of manifestation of emotional burnout syndrome among teachers working in organizations of general and higher education

The results of an empirical study aimed at establishing the peculiarities of the manifestation of emotional burnout syndrome and identifing its moral and value determinants in teachers of general and higher education are presented in the paper. The idea that the adverse effects upon the occurrence of burnout syndrome in a teacher are manifested both at the individual (personality of the specialist) and at the group (interaction with students and colleagues) levels is substantiated. It was revealed that university teachers and school teachers have differences in the manifestation and moral and value determinants of burnout syndrome. It was established that the syndrome of emotional burnout has already developed or is at the stage of formation in the majority of respondents, a tendency to a spiritual crisis was also found among teachers from both groups, which confirms the relevance and significance of the analyzed problem. A promising area of research is the further research aimed at developing a program for the prevention and psychological correction of burnout syndrome among teachers of different educational levels.
