Creation and design features of ecotours in Russia

Tourism is one of the most dynamic and change- prone sectors of the economy. It is directly linked to the socioeconomic development of many countries. Currently, due to the growing anti-globalization movements worldwide and the complex geopolitical situation, developing the tourism industry in the country is becoming a priority. Under these conditions, it is essential for producers to create products that can replace imported goods. In tourism, this means developing the domestic sector as a whole: creating new destinations within the Russian Federation, building and upgrading tourism infrastructure, and promoting new and existing, but unpopular, destinations. In recent decades, ecotourism, which combines travel with a respectful attitude toward nature and support for local communities, has become increasingly popular. This type of tourism not only contributes to the preservation of unique ecosystems but also opens up new opportunities for the sustainable development of regions. This opinion is confirmed in the Strategy for Tourism Development in the Russian Federation for the Period up to 2035, where this type of tourism is named a priority area for tourism development. The relevance of the paper topic is determined, firstly, by the increased interest in sustainable types of tourism, one of which is ecotourism, and secondly, by the need to analyze existing approaches to the design of ecotours and identify the most optimal ones in order to develop a competitive tourism offer, taking into account current legislation.
