Features of word-buildind in Bonan and Mongolian languages

The paper discuses differences in semantics of the derivative words formed by means of a lexical syntactic way of word formation in Bonan and Mongolian languages. It is revealed that some words with similar meaning in Mongolian and Bonan languages are formed by synonyms or words with close semantics. Some words in two languages have the different volume of the semantic field. Many free phrases in Mongolian function in Bonan language as the compound words designating one concept. Also attention is paid to the process of substantivisation of participles which took place more actively in Bonan language. The considered differences in word formation demonstrate mental, sociocultural, historical features of two people, representing unique keys to understanding their culture.
