The features of the formation of motivation for learning activity of university students in the training process

The article considers the concept of academic motivation in psychology. It substantiates the relevance of the presented topic and stresses the necessity to pay attention to the formation of the motivation of students' learning activity. Besides, it describes the types of academic motivation. The article also provides the results of the research of the motivation of students' learning activity and reveals the features in the structure of academic motivation of university students. The authors drew a conclusion that the knowledge of students' personal and psychological features allows controlling properly and directing the process of development of their motivational sphere.
