Features of the structure of personal potential in elderly people

Due to the constant growth of the share of elderly people in the population composition both in Russia and in the world, it is necessary to study approaches to organizing their life to improve its quality. The basis for the development of relevant state programs is the study of the structure of elderly people personal potential, a high level of which contributes to positive subjective well-being, a sense of happiness and harmony of life. The personal potential of an elderly person is a complex of realized and unrealized individual resources. Its increase is influenced by subjective and objective factors that need to be taken into account when providing support to elderly people in the development of their personal potential, in line with interdisciplinary scientific developments. Programs to support elderly people can be more differentiated, personally and socially oriented to different categories of elderly people.
