The research is devoted to the study of gender characteristics of the relationship between coping strategies and personal characteristics of high school students. The empirical part of the work carried out using Medici “Indicator coping strategies”, the coping test R. Lazarus, Freiburg personal questionnaire and questionnaire V. I. Morosanova “Style of self-regulation of behavior” (SPP-98). The systematization of approaches to the definition of terms, theoretical analysis of the concepts of the structure of the phenomenon and methods of its evaluation.
