National History in the Patriotic Education of Prosecutors

The article shows the possibility of using historical material in patriotic education. The issues of patriotic education of youth based on the materials of national history are considered. For a reliable barrier to abuse of authority by law enforcement officers, their sense of duty to the Fatherland is of no small importance. The patriotic position of specialists in all legal specialties is becoming important in the context of an information war unleashed by forces hostile to the state. Russian history is recognized as one of the sources of patriotism. The history of the prosecutor’s office provides rich material for the formation of programs of patriotic education of young people. The facts from the history of the Russian prosecutor’s office are summarized and data from its various periods are commented on. The trends of changing the role and importance of the prosecutor’s office in strengthening the state are revealed. Examples of honest service to the motherland and fatherland are given. Historical materials containing the potential applicable in the system of patriotic education of youth are highlighted. At the same time, the prosecutor’s office has implemented a set of measures for patriotic education, including the improvement of the regulatory framework governing patriotic education, the optimization of professional training and advanced training of prosecutors, patriotic activities, information and educational work. The possibility of using generalized data from the hysteria of the national prosecutor’s office in the educational process is shown. It is proposed to introduce materials on the history of the Russian prosecutor’s office into the work programs of disciplines taught to students (cadets, trainees) of law faculties and specialties.
