The attitude towards money as a professional self-determination aspect in adolescents with problematic Internet use were studied. A sample of 1031 adolescents aged 12-18 was divided into 3 groups according to the level of their tendency to Internet addiction. Methods: Chen's Internet Addiction Scale (CIAS), “Adolescent Money Attitude Scales” questionnaire (Beutler I.F., Gudmunson C.G.), “Financial responsibility to parents” questionnaire, “Money attitude of schoolchildren” questionnaire by M.U. Semyonov. Methods of mathematical statistics: H-Kruskal-Wallis test, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. It was found that in the group of adolescents using the Internet, as well as adolescents with a tendency to Internet addiction, a higher orientation towards financial rights, anxiety about money, and a lower orientation towards financial responsibility are expressed than adolescents with normative use of the Internet. The positive correlation between the indicator of propensity to Internet addiction and the adolescents' self-assessment of their financial rights and its negative correlation with the self-assessment of their financial responsibilities to parents was revealed. Acceptable results of individual symptom-targets for counseling and psycho-correctional work with adolescents have been obtained
