Economic changes caused by geopolitical and sanctions instability require an increase in the eco-nomic patriotism of Russian entrepreneurs. The aim of the research was to study the attitude of Russian entrepreneurs to economic patriotism and to identify the connection between this phenomenon and the ethical nature of business decisions. The sample of 73 entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia, that consisted of 40 women and 33 men aged 25 to 55 years (M = 38,29, SD = 6,59). The methodological toolkit included the author’s scaled multifactor “Questionnaire of economic patriotism of entrepreneurs” by Tsvetkova V.Yu., Deineka O.S., the projective methodology “I ask for advice” by Redkina M.V. (assuming egocentric, socially oriented and ethical levels of decision-making), and socio-demographic variables analysis. The study was conducted in September 2024 using the Anketologist online survey service. According to the results entrepreneurs with higher subjective income levels, business levels, and business experience are more likely to help fighters at the front. Those entrepreneurs who assess the economic situation in the country as unfavorable, consider patriotism to be an outdated term, and have low company experience in the market are prone to the egocentric decision-making stage.
