The attitude of the parent community towards the school education system in Russia

The problem of the attitude of the parent community towards the school education system in modern Russia is one of the most relevant in the current sociological, psychological and pedagogical discourse. Within the framework of its disclosure, researchers, referring to parents’ views on the realities of modern school, also touch upon theoretical issues of the foundations of pedagogical professionalism and pedagogical culture, the axiological orientation of teachers and students, the specifics of school work with gifted and prone to deviant behavior students, and many others. However, the most valuable material for constructing a scientific study of the problem referred to in this paper is the results of studying the systematized and generalized opinions of modern parents concerning the conditions of their children’s education at school. The basis of this paper is the analysis of the materials of a sociological survey on the conditions of education and the level of material and technical support for the educational process at school, conducted by the author in January 2023 in the mode of an anonymous online survey through the online questionnaire design tool anketolog.ru and the response collection service Yandex.Toloka. Studying the opinions of 538 respondents allowed the author to draw a conclusion about the problematic areas of the school education system in the Russian Federation.
