The article studies the problem of teenagers’ ethno-cultural knowledge development in the conditions of multicultural society with the educational support. The educational support concept is considered as a system of actions based on the respect for the individuality of each student, and focused on helping the students to develop their ethnic identity, learning of ethnic, national and world culture. The authors describe in detail the objectives and the functions of the ethno-cultural literacy of adolescents.
