The article deals with the author’s definition of the concept “system of labor (technology) education of schoolchildren”, developed with the consideration of the requirements of modern society and the system of education. There are suggested the components of the labor (technology) education of schoolchildren as the pedagogical system. The peculiarities of their functioning are described.
