The article deals with the issue of the development of leadership of the members in the pedagogical union. There is substantiated the necessity of revealing and realizing the pedagogical conditions, taking into the consideration the uniqueness of the leadership in the social groups of this type, the deficiency in the developed level of the leadership qualities of the young people, the educational practices and the support of the leaders and the leadership.
