Pedagogical Conditions for the Effective Implementation of the System of Commander’s Will Education among Cadets of Military Universities

The relevance of research aimed at solving the problems of fostering commanding will among cadets of military universities as one of the key military professional qualities is substantiated. The results of an empirical stage of research aimed at testing the author’s system of commander’s will education and pedagogical conditions for the eff ectiveness of its implementation are presented. The components of this system are described: pedagogical technologies, methods of education (personal example of commanders and teachers, situation analysis, thematic conversations), forms of work (meetings with veterans, trainings, conversations), means of education (online resources, textbooks, didactic materials). The pedagogical conditions contributing to the improvement of the system of commander’s will education are highlighted: the organization of social actions by cadets; the performance of qualification (course and graduation) work on the problems of commander’s will development; creation and purposeful systematic use of a media library aimed at supporting the process of commander's will education in a military university. The data obtained at the initial and final stages of the study are presented. It is concluded that the pedagogical system of commander's will education presented in the work among cadets of military universities, as well as the identified conditions for the eff ectiveness of this area of work, contribute to improving the military professional training of future officers.
