Pedagogical conditions for the professional development of a children's summer camp counsellor

The need to organize children’s activities in summer camps and ensure the safety of children during the summer recreation program requires high-quality selection of personnel and their professional training. Student pedagogical teams have a great potential for providing a professional development of a children’s summer camp counsellor. On the example of implementing the “Watercolor” pedagogical team program in the Lipetsk State Pedagogical University, the article considers the sequence of stages of professional formation of a children’s summer camp counsellor. The analysis of this process content allowed the authors to identify and disclose the pedagogical conditions that are important for the professional formation of a counsellor, including purposeful, systematic organization of training sessions, the use of a variety of class forms, methods and tools, etc.
