Pedagogical conditions of professional self-identification of cadets in institutions of higher military education

The paper studies the problem of professional formation of personality and professional self-identification as its integral component. Professional self-identification purports not only accumulation of knowledge and practical experience, but also acquisition of professional skills. Considering the specific character of professional training, professional self-identification of cadets of institutions of higher military education of the National Guard of the Russian Federation requires special work devoted to its formation and development. To perform such work, specific conditions are needed. A special feature of the notion 'pedagogical conditions' consists in the fact that it contains the elements of all the constituents of the process of education and training: goals, content, methods, forms, tools. According to the author, important pedagogical conditions for self-identification in cadets of institutions of higher military education are involvement of cadets into real-world environment via contextual education, cadets' troop internship, and pedagogical support that create an opportunity to model a future military specialist. In conclusion, the author presents an original pedagogical program for future officers' professional seif-identification that consists of theoretical, practical, and diagnostic modules.
